A flashback to pre-COVID times. Landon and Ellis made the trek from New York to Landon's hometown of Vancouver to celebrate their winter wedding.
We had the privilege of being a part of the first LGBTQ+ wedding at Congregation Beth Israel Vancouver, the synagogue Landon grew up in. Calling this building beautiful is a disservice to the time and love put in to constructing it. The architectural design, the softness of the light rays, the care and attention to every detail was jaw dropping.
The reception was beautiful in a completely different way. As we took the gondola to the top of Grouse Mountain the tree line slowly changed to white, as winter was alive at the top of the mountain. Surrounded by skiers, hikers and tourists, Landon and Ellis took full advantage of the scenery before joining their guests into a party that lasted all night.
